Design Collaboration Challenge

Hey guys, I'm so excited today to be taking part in a creative Design Collaboration with several very talented bloggers & designers!  Here's how it works, each month we'll create a Design Board around a fun inspiration photo.  This month it's this super cute scarf below.  Hey, inspiration can come from the simplest of things right?

So here's my board below.   I designed a modern yet coastal inspired living room. The colors I used are pale turquoise, coral and gray. The style is partly mid century modern with chic silver accessories, a natural woven rug and coral for a beachy vibe!  Oh how I wish I had a chic beach house like this to retreat to every week-end!

Okay check out the Awesome design boards everyone else created...

Carissa designed this "hip living room"...
I love Urban Outfitters' rugs. I thought it might be fun to design a room around one of their rugs. Once I got started, though, I couldn't help but add a lot of other items from Urban Outfitters as well. They have trendy, low-price but high-quality home decor. {Everything in this room is from UO, except the chinoise and arrow pillowand the beanbag.}

Sarah designed this fun master bedroom:

"Since we have some of these colors in our master, I thought it would be fun to pull together a master bedroom that combines white, aqua and orange. I would use lots of white to ensure that it's a restful space, with sand colored walls bringing in a beach vibe. Stop by my blog to see my sources!"

Lizzie designed her dream office:
"This color combo gave me an excuse to design a room around a sofa that I've been lusting after for a long time, and since it would be a totally self-indulgent buy (can't see the Mr going for it, and it definitely isn't kid-friendly), I decided, not for the first time, to go the whole hog and make myself a dream office."

Wow, I am totally inspired by this soft color palette, it's so fresh!   From a hip living room to a colorful master bedroom and a super chic and functional home office, I'm loving it all.  Okay visit these gals above to find even more source info.  And we'll be back next month for another creative design challenge!
