Ahhh, love me some brushed nickel! Yup, I scored this golden initial below from Hobby Lobby for less than $10 and love it. But the brass finish...yeah not so much!

Well Krylon's Metallic Spray Paint...to the rescue! Literally this project took less than 5 minutes to spray. Then I hung it with a wire coat hanger to dry and voila!

That's great, Krylon's Nickel is wonderful, I used it on the legs of a kids desk I redid and it was just awesome!

DeleteLove it - I sprayed the old bathroom light fixtures instead of buying new ones. saved a lot of money and made them look spiffy!

Your letter came out great. This is my favorite paint, it looks soooo good. Just make sure to spray it upside down after every use to clear the nozzle. I'm still mourning my half full can that got clogged. :(

ReplyDeleteCoincidentally, I am currently repainting a dining room light fixture with the exact same paint for my daughter who just bought a little fixer upper. Our first thought was ewwww, that has to go, but after a while we decided that we didn't have anything to loose by painting it. It has changed the look completely! Love this paint! I may have to buy a letter and use the rest up!
