Painted brick fireplace…Before & After!

Hey guys, well we have been painting and painting, and then when you think your almost done…more painting!  But our family room makeover is coming along beautifully.

I'm always amazed at what a little paint can do.  So today I'm sharing our painted fireplace Before & After! Remember the old red brick?

Well dark and dated and traditional medallion no more!

Hello updated fireplace…I am in LOVE!

We painted the brick the same color as the wall for a clean and simple look (Useful Gray - 7050).  Then we removed the wood medallion and painted the mantle the same color as our trim - Benjamin Moore's - Super White.  I love how light and airy the room looks now.

Okay, I'll do a write up with pictures of our family room and kitchen and give you guys the scoop on this entire project soon!  But for today, Before & Afters are so fun aren't they?
