Hey guys, well today's the big day! Today I started painting our brick fireplace. Wahoo, yay me ;) I actually am really am excited because so far everything is coming together nicely. And we hope to have the entire family room, kitchen and fireplace makeover finished by this week-end.
In the meantime, here's a sneak peek…
Here's a corner of our kitchen above and the new gray paint color! Now as you know gray is a cool color, but isn't this a warm gray? And if your just joining us, again the color is Useful Gray SW 7050.
Here's my hubby scraping off some old candle wax that had dripped onto the brick. He also took down the flat screen TV, and let me tell you…that was not easy, those suckers are heavy!
Interesting how our new gray walls look blue in this picture above. That's because of the red brick. Once the brick is neutralized with paint, the warm gray hue will take shape.
And here's the gray color again! As well as a favorite photos of my hubby and sweet son, who is now a teenager btw :)
Okay that's the Diy scoop around here, happy Monday!
Gorgeous color and the fireplace will look amazing. Hugs, marty
