A few words...Wednesday!

Hey guys, well it dawned on me the other day that I share lots of pictures from the inside of our home, but rarely the outside!  So here it is, our circa 1980's brick colonial...

We've changed many things inside this house to make it a home.

We've ripped out thick white carpeting in the family room and added dark hardwood oak floors. We've painted our once orange/oak kitchen cabinets black, and our built-in bookcases white.  I've painted our bathroom cabinets, and media cabinets in our bonus room.  I've also painted my daughters bedroom twice!  Yup, needless to say it's been a labor of LOVE.

So back to the house, what's your favorite style house...Colonials, bungalows, transitionals, cape cods, beach cottages, victorians, farm houses?  And is yours a labor of love like ours?  Leave a comment and let us know....

    1. I obviously love Colonials too. But even more so are modern and updated colonials! And that's how I envision our house when it's all finished. IF we ever get there ;)

    2. We've done a lot of work thats for sure. But to us, there's nothing more satisfying than making a house... your own. Ours isn't cookie cutter. It doesn't look like everybody else's home. And we love that!
