Trash to Treasure...lamp revamp!!

It's Trash to Treasure Tuesday!

One of my favorite Diy projects are lamp revamps.  Thrift stores have tons of vintage lamps in cool shapes that nobody wants because they're brass or some other odd finish.  Case in point...this neon orange beauty below.

Well spray paint em' up, add a new shade...and you've got a one of a kind (new to you) lamp!  Check out this project from Just the Bee's Knees!

here's the Before...

And the After...

Ahhh modern & updated!  And I love the blue and gray colors here.

Check out Just the Bee's Knees.  Yup, the girl knows how to revamp a lamp ;)

  5. Great revamp!! It had great lines and all it needed was a little paint refreshment. ;) Yay for someone seeing its potential and giving it a good home.

  8. Very classy. I've just discovered the joy of lamp revamps. Check out the Ruby Slippers lamp I just did. I'm going to do more with a nostalgia theme. http://serendipitini.blogspot.com/2012/04/ruby-slippers-lamp-wizard-of-oz.html
