Family Room Before & After...Remodel-aholic!

Wow, today I am absolutely swooning over a Family Room Makeover from Remodel-aholic!  The room before was nice, but a wee bit dated with it's bright green paint that didn't relate to the other neutrals in the room.

But the After...Ahhh, FAB-U-LOUS!!

Check out that neutral wall color - very Greige.  And those curtain panels were handmade with simple drop cloths from Lowe's.  Hung from the ceiling, her ceilings look tall and dramatic!

And my favorite part...the french doors!  The mullions were removed and the doors were painted black.  The overall look?  Chic, modern...and totally updated!  Seriously guys, I'm bookmarking this one.

Okay, check out Remodel-aholic...this site rocks!

  1. I love the black french doors as well. Your timing for this post was perfect for me because I literally was staring at the french doors in our dining area yesterday thinking they should be black. Now I have something to show the hubby as an example :)

  3. I love the fact that the curtain panels are drop cloths...that gives me inspiration for my sunroom as I need new curtain panels and this would be perfect. Great post!
