Today I'm sharing a few Frame Galleries I have in my home. I love hanging frames in groups, because they create large focal points! So instead of hanging large expensive wall art, you can hang affordable frames filled with treasured family photos!
You can even purchase thrift store frames and spray paint them all the same color if your really looking to save! These frames below I purchased at Target.
One of my favorite things are black and white photos! I put my favorite color photos on a disc, and head to Walgreens or CVS. There I can change my pictures to black and white, crop and make other minor adjustments.
Here's our home office and these are my Framed Coral Prints! I snagged the prints from Allposters.com and then framed them with inexpensive frames from Garden Ridge. I love how this grouping fills in the space above the desk adding heighth as well.
This gallery is in our hallway upstairs. As you can see, it's not finished yet as a few of the photos are not in the frame and taped to the glass. I'm still deciding on which photos to use. No rhyme or reason with the pattern here...I just laid my frames out and got creative!

Love all of your galleries. They are so fun to do and yours are so interesting. Hugs, marty
ReplyDeleteI love all of your galleries (didn't even notice the doorbell box, had to go back and find it). I want to do a gallery wall going up our staircase. I just have to DO it. I bought the frames and I'm planning on all black and white photos. I'm going to check out the link you posted. Thanks!

I love your gallery! I love that paint color used in your hallway. What color is it? I am sure you have mentioned it before but couldn't locate it.
ReplyDeleteWow. These are incredibly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank You!! Allison, the color I used is Coastal Pointe from Benjamin Moore. We like it a lot, although sometimes in pictures it can look yellow if there isn't enough light.

One more thing! When I hang my frames I trace the outline of the back of the frame on grocery bag paper. Then cut the shape. Mark a hole for the nail hole...and tape to the wall.
ReplyDeleteHope this helps!
